LARGE APPLIQUE WALL HANGING 60s 70s

Beautiful hand sewn, appliqued wall hanging from approximately the 1960s or 70s. A truly unique item.

Measures 89cm across and 167cm long.

Hand appliqued using plain cotton with a canvas backing.

I purchased this from someone who's brother had brought it back from his travels years ago, I had intended to cut it in half to use on a wall space that needed a smaller piece, but this is so large and so unique, it would have been a crime to cut it in half.

This has been sponged clean but as is usual with something of this age, there is the odd mark but not noticeable and does not distract from it's cool boho look.

People hang these on their walls in many ways, but if you would like me to add loops to the top back to slide a pole through, please let me know and I will happily add these at no extra cost.
